Google Is Changing The URL Referral Strings

Google is now changing the URL referral strings i.e. now the webmasters can see in their analytics accounts when someone goes to their site from Google search result page.

Now the information can be used to analyze the search engine rankings and the effects of their search engine optimization strategies.

In the link below Google’s Matt Cutts explains that the new URLs will include info on the position of the page in search results.
