Facts That Google Considers Spam

Google doesn't like web spam at all. Some facts are highlighted below:

  • The first fact for spam is a page that is stuffed with hundreds of keywords in a comma separated list. Google doesn’t want that type of pages in the search results.
  • The second fact for spam is a page that has normal text. However, the text contains keyword optimized links that are totally unrelated to the surrounding text.
  • Other things/facts that Google considers spam are linking schemes, misleading redirects or purposeful duplicate content.

Page Speed : Another Google Ranking Factor

Google uses page speed as another ranking factor. So improve the speed of your web page by following tips. Although Page speed is not Google's most important ranking signal. The end of Google's page speed announcement contains a very important sentence: "While site speed is a new signal, it doesn't carry as much weight as the relevance of a page." But still you need to improve your webpage for that little weight-age.

  1. Choose a fast and reliable web host with a good connection to the Internet. A "cheap" web host could cause problems.
  2. Combine external JavaScript code files into one file. The fewer files the server has to request, the faster your web pages will load. Also put all the tracking codes at the end of the code
  3. Compress your JavaScript code to make the JavaScript file smaller.
  4. Combine external CSS files into one file and compress your CSS files.
  5. If your web server supports it, enable gZip compression (your web host can do that for you).
  6. Use as few images as possible on your website and compress your images. Most graphic tools enable you to choose the compression rate when saving an image for the web

SEO Friendly Domain Name

Domain Name or URL plays a very major role in any business. In SEO it is a major factor in getting better Search engine rankings. It's very important thing to do a thorough market research for the right kind of domain name selection, because once you have chosen a domain name then its forever.

First you have to see on your competitors and analyze their domain names also. then check out what domain name will suit more to your business. You should follow some points while selecting the domain name. Some of the points are as follows:

  • .com domain is preferable if you are targeting business over the entire world or else choose the respective geographical area domain name for your business.
  • Never use hyphens in domain names it will lose your website creditability
  • If someone owes the domain name which you wanted and that person is selling it for some higher rates, then try to contact them and buy it from them. There is nothing wrong in spending little more dollars to get a good domain name for successful business.
  • If possible keep your niche keyword in your domain name, so that you will get better SERPs with less effort.

Indented Listing For Your Keywords

Indented listings are the same website links in top 10 but the most relevant one for the searched query. The most relevant result is listed first, with other relevant pages from the same website indented below it.

How to get indented listings for your keywords

To get an indented listing for one or more of your keywords here are some of the points to follow:
  1. A very basic thing is to first have a web page that already has a top 10 ranking for a keyword.
  2. Your next step should be to create a second web page on the same domain and link it to the first webpage which is already ranking at top 10 positions for a keyword. Optimize the second page for the same keyword as page one but use different content and meta-tags.
  3. Link the first ranking webpage to second created webpage with your keyword phrase in the anchor text.
  4. Get inbound links from the website for the second page. Depending on the competition for the keywords high quality links can be enough to get the indented result.

Three Things You Should Do To Optimization Webpage

Search engine rank single webpage in the results for single search term

A single webpage should be optimized for a single search term only. Do not optimize the same page for more than one search term; It is always better if a web page is highly relevant to one search term than somewhat relevant to many search terms.

Google considers all pages of your website

Optimizing different webpages of your website for different keywords that are all related to a certain topic, this will help Google to think that your website is relevant to this topic and it will be easier to get high rankings for your keywords. Although only a single page of your website will be listed in Google's search results for the targeted search term.

Optimized web page content and inbound links work hand-in-hand

Website having both optimized content and good inbound links will be much easier to get high rankings on Google. A web page that has been optimized for the search term "internet marketing" and has links from other web pages that use the same term "internet marketing" as the link text is much more likely to get a top ranking on Google than a page that only has the inbound links or the optimized content.
